The Punisher Vs. Punisher:warzone

Personally I liked the punisher with thomas jane much better.

It had its problems sure. One being it had tone problems. It seemed like they couldnt decide wether to go pg or r. Some moments had graphic violence other times it felt corny.however i thought jane was great and I enjoyed the count of monte cristo esque revenge plot. It felt primed to have a much improved sequel.

Warzone had zero plot or character development. It was over the top violent bordering on parody. Such as punching a dudes face clean in with one hit . Ray stevenson was boring to me. And mcnulty chewed scenery in his scenes something awful.

Is it bad that I feel the one with Dolph Lundren is better than both of these?

Louis Gossett Jr's character had me dying in that flick, especially when old girl was tryna get info from him. shyt went down kinda like:

Broad: "Excuse me, is there any information about these shootings you can tell me?"

Lou: "I don't know what you're talking about. If I did, there's nothing you could say that would make me tell you anything."

Broad: "I believe Frank Castle is the Punisher."

Lou: "...come with me."

I chose The Punisher.
War Zone had the action but The Punisher had everything else. If we got a sequel we would've had the full evolution of the character which would've brought in the action of War Zone.

That Dolph joint was my shyt back in the day

Never checked for Janes version till I saw on netflix and it was entertaining as fukk Travolta even did his thing too.

Warzome was terrible, action packed tho so it is worth a watch.

Apparently they were going to make a sequel with jane but he declined because the studio didnt want to make a gritty dark movie.

He filmed dirty laundry as a send off for the character in how he wanted to do it.

Thats what jane said anyway.

I might be the only one then that enjoy warzone. Unadulterated violence and not much else is what I want in a Punisher movie
