The Real Problem ppl have with Kendrick Lamar isn't that he claims to be the king of particular regions he isn't from ... not that he proclaims to be one of the best or be the one moving the culture forward... not that he's going at drake ... not that he's putting himself in the same sentence with with Jay and nas. Its really that ppl championed him as the "should-be" top MC because of his humility or seemingly humility only to find out this nygga is arrogant as everyone who held the throne before him. People loved Kendrick while he was on the come up cuz he was saying all the right things "I want to be only known for the music than anything else ... ". Humbly accepted the King of the West Coast title from Snoop n Game ... and didn't threaten to outrap them to gain it .. Humbly accepted praise for his debut effort without letting all rappers know then .. he will shyt on their lives on a track. His personality like Drake said is non threatening .. and I even met him and dude seems soft spoken reserved and furthest thing from cocky. But now he's approaching territory where people will now want him to lose .. like 50 cent .. like lil wayne .. like ja rule.

Everyone just wants a HUMBLE leader ... everyone wants the person who is the best and person on top to be still bowing down and acting regularly .. you speak facts about your ability and you're now "feeling yourself" and "need to be humbled". He has much further to go in the game as long as he acts like he still the lil nygga who is glad to be still "spitting the real" and accepted in the mainstream. Stick his chest out too much .. it will be a wrap soon.

Kendrick with the control verse was cool .. it broke up the Hip Hop Kum-bi-ya .. which a lot of fans wanted ... Now with him continuing the antics and really sticking his chest out .. resentment now builds. After GKMC came out .. not one soul had anything bad to say about him ... But in hip hop .. nyggas want the top guy to be on some "lucky to be here shyt".

Oh and for those who ADHD prevented from reading the paragraphs above:
In summary: Kendrick Biggest Problem is this perceived Ego that everyone now suddenly is noticing. He need 2 chill to keep progressing.
Those people didnt listen to enough Kendrick Lamar. He isnt humble.

get the fu%$k outta here with that humble shyt. Not ONE OF the so called goats is humble.
they might have moments where they come across humble, but make no mistake - each and everyone of the goats is an arrogant a$$hole.
i mean all of them. and why not, if you can back it up!!!!!!!!!!

The main problem people, online like me anyway, have with Kendrick are his die-hard fans. They lack the simple skill of contextualizing.

Case in point: some idiot is still running around comparing freestyles he shot in some apartment stairwell where he's clearly doing his best Lil' B impression to "Control," an unapologetic call to arms aimed directly at his peers. There's a difference between fukking around with blatant presumptuousness in your lyrics to pay homage, and bragging about your recent accomplishments then jamming right in the face of your contemporaries in the fashion of a run-down.

Plus did someone seriously bring up "Rigamortis" in defense of his cockiness? Like, seriously? What rapper hasn't bragged about their "lyrical ability" for a full song? That doesn't make you cocky, but confident, idiots. Learn to contextualize.
