It is relative. You can't say one game looks better therefore the devs/hardware are better without considering everything that goes into a game.

That's like if you and I had $1000 to furnish an entire house, and you had the same amount to furnish one room. Then we conclude that you did a better job since you got better furniture.

Different gamers want different things. Xbox has always been the platform to concentrate on MP games. It's what their fans want. Why would they not continue to deliver that?

Whatever breh... Xbox focused on MP.... Sony focused on both MP and great single player experiences...

Now the argument is that xbox devs focus on gameplay and limit graphics. It's almost like there's 100 people in a team all working on the same exact thing. Like graphics programmers and gameplay designers and the other teams all were told by higher ups, "FOCUS ON GAMEPLAY, LOWER GRAPHICS GUYS!!" and they did so.

If that's the case why did Gears of War 1 look so good AND play good when it came out??? Why is Crysis 1 sitting at a 91 on metacritic?? I bet you this dude really thinks it's just rated only for it's graphics and everything else is skipped. if that's the case, Ryse would be the highest rated Xbox 1 game.

Never said anything about purposely limiting graphics. And me saying "concentrate on gameplay" doesn't mean one game is more fun or better than the other.

Gears of war is very limited in scope and gameplay options when compared to a game like gta. Which is why gears of war looks a lot better than gta.

Rescorces are limited no matter what platform you use. If you are gonna spend a bunch of time/power/resorces on rendering a players jacket all the way down to the indivudal stitches, then you just won't have the resources/power to make 5 more jackets of the same quality.

I've seen every one of you utter the phrase "looks good for an open world game"

So how could you now turn around and pretend what I'm saying is false?

Different devs will say different things, just like in one of the quotes its stated the PS3 was better/faster in some areas. I think the games spoke for themselves, if "The Last of Us" type game was capable on the 360 I'm sure it would have come to friction.

Multiplats I'd give the nod to 360 and we all know why that was but when it came to exclusives the PS3 games were in a class of their own.

This myth needs to be eradicated from the internet. Xbox Live may have started off the trend of online gaming for consoles but as of now that gap is closed and PSN is up there. PS+ is better than XBL gold on value alone and everything someone would need to play online and have fun is there on PS4. party chat, recording, streaming, sending photos to each other, etc. On top of that you get free shyt everymonth?? Also Xbox only had basically two great MP games and the last two flopped. nikkas dropped halo 4 with the quickness as did Gears Judgment. After that what else?? Multiplatforms that people DO play on other consoles?? Xbox may be focusing on MP but they're losing that edge because they're big MP games are trying to emulate COD and that's where they fukked up.

In the reality of it being said that no Xbox 360 exclusive is seeing Last of Us graphically you went off tangent and you spoke for developers saying what their targets were. did Xbox developers say "Yeah we didn't push the hardware graphically and it was conscious development choice?" did PS3 developers say they limited the gameplay to better the graphics? were you project lead on these games or are we diving off the end of facts and jumping into pure speculation and opinion here?

YOu keep saying "limited in scope", wtf does that even mean?? I'm saying in the sense of what you're trying to mean it doesn't make sense. If the devs want to make a TPS , they'll make a TPS catered towards what they decide to implement. Wtf does it have to do with GTA?? Gears is not trying to be GTA.

Why do you assume the whole team is focused on graphics and gameplay takes a back seat?? I just provided you an example and you mention something about Gears being limited in scope as if that makes any sense. Uncharted 2 had beautiful graphics, had an amazing SP AND had a MP game with some meat that was fun.

Where you heard that from?? If you're talking about Infamous, we're saying how crazy it looks so good AND plays well compared to games that are MUCH smaller. You'd think Ryse would have better graphics and gameplay since it's as in your words "limited in scope" yet Infamous does all that. That disproves your argument that more graphics=worse gameplay since resources are tied up.

I'm talking common sense. GTA will never meet the graphics of crysis. Dead rising will never meet the graphics of Ryse.

You can't compare the graphics of two totally different games in two totally different genres and then draw any reasonable conclusion about the skill of a dev or the relative power of a console.

I say TitanFall should have been a launch title. Therefore the console should have come out March 11. It would have given them some time to refine some game graphics maybe up the console specs or something. But I honestly feel like the xbox one owners are beta testing the console. Its super buggy and broken.
