Which games are comparable in scope?Devs have been wrong before. Devs have lied before. I'll tell you this much - there are a number of PS3 exclusives that no game on the 360 matches even when taking scope into consideration. If this can be done on the universally accepted harder to code for platform, then I don't understand what series of steps would result in this still being the actual weaker platform.
What he saying is speed/specs alone do not soley determine the graphics/performace in a game. There are plenty of other things that come into play. So you can't pick a game and say "well this looks better than a game on the other system, therefore one system is more powerful than the other" that's an illogical conclusion that ignores plenty of variables. The end of your last quote has the dude saying:
And still, the best looking AAA game of this generation belongs to the supposedly weaker platform"
By my understanding, he's referring to TLOU as best looking AAA and PS3 as the "supposedly weaker platform". So he says PS3 is slower but it's also "supposedly" weaker. That implies, to me, that speed alone (in the traditional sense) isn't all that determines "power". The parallel abilities afforded by Core would support this.
If that's the case then Ryse proves that the X1 is the more powerful console.

GIve it up breh. Pretty much every multiplatform title LOOKS and PLAYS better on PS4 as well as exclusives. Infamous came out and crushed the buildings. shyt is Ryse quality graphics at 1080p in an open world setting. Nuff fukking said breh.
