I know. I was trying to get clarification from @winb83 on what he meant by saying "let's not act like other Cryengine games won't eventually hit the PS4"

my point is different games running on the same engine can't be compared like that (and you seem to agree). if some Cryengine game(s) come out running at 1080p on the PS4, that says nothing about Ryse running at 900p on the X1
if an open world game running on cry engine came out for ps4 at 1080p and it looked better, that says a lot about Xbox. you are basically trying to say infamous isn't impressive graphically and that it shouldn't be compared? I wouldn't compare the order to infamous since that's a more linear title and that already looks better.

Halo is a much more open/non linear game than TLOU, but I never hear y'all bring that up when claiming TLOU looks better.

no, because there could still be other factors. Cryengine doesn't guarantee an amazing looking, graphically intensive, game. that's why no one cares about Warface

Halo 4 first off isn't better looking than tlou and it isn't really that open compared to reach. They traded open areas for better gfx in the campaign. Reach was bigger.

The Bungie Halos ran at sub HD resolutions too. Halo 4 is at 720p native.

What part of ryse looking under par to infamous regardless of scope don't you understand? Ryse should look better but it doesn't.
