Despite it creating false opinions and a group think mebtality. Creates a lack of any original thought. They need the dap feature like Facebook needs a like button. It creates the dopamine feedback loop that keeps the fiends coming back and back. Very clever implementation from the white European the owns this site. Man must be making a killing off all this militant talk :wow:



Petition to remove the dap feature so we can get rid of these dap fishing wastemen and people will be forced to post their true feelings instead of what they think the most daps will get.

No system necessarily forces groupthink other than stuff like reddit's upvote system or facebook comment algorithm, as those literally filter out whatever isnt the popular opinion.

Daps have no impact on the visibility of a posts. People think the way they do on thecoli out of free will. Like minded people generally do form communities and in a web forum allows an equal way to have your opinion voiced on any matter. No matter your opinion on a forum, it will be shown with the rest unless you say something moddable.

Say for instance, I think a tv show is good, and other people on this site think its bad or vice versa. I can go into any related thread and voice this opinion and people cant do shyt but read what i said and debate me. If this were a site where the points decided to show only the most common opinion, I'd effectively be silenced.

There is no reason to remove daps @MoroccanBoy

This is the coli in a nutshell. A bunch pigeons caught in several reward systems like the vid below.




Now since I'm aware of this, I figured out methodology to Dap Fishing.
When you look at how daps are distributed in a thread, it's usually:
1. The first 10 posts get the most daps,
2. Then a small drop off on the next 10 posts.
3. Then a big drop off outside 20 posts.
So there are two conclusions here, enter a thread as soon as possible to get the early daps and don't post after 20 replies.

All that's needed is a bait thread. Not to worry, like I said, the coli has several reward systems. Plat threads are another.
Wait for the right thread, jump in with you dap fishing post and just like that, Dap Maximization.


A lot of psychological stuff goes on here. Many crazy posters here.

i took it off after i was getting loads of daps on some meme i posted

the only alerts i get is when someone quotes me

no it does not

i don't know how you roll pal but i only dap funny or relatable posts , i've seen plenty of "real talk" posts with no daps , never changed the narrative of a thread
