We do not defend our communities from thugs, pimps (pastors), and foreign owned businesses. We'd much rather stand in front of that Arab owned business and yell at every big booty chick we see. We much rather patronize these pulpit preachers who are pimping our mothers and aunties. We much rather defend the actions of thugs and drug dealers even when they hold our community hostage. This is why a lot of sisters do not respect us and I completely understand.

Good post, breh. Foreigners setting up shop in our neighborhoods and extracting wealth is the most blatant act of aggression we deal with from other communities. It's not the white cop shooting us. That isn't a regular occurrence.

The fact that you can go in any predominately black community and see that everything is owned by other groups should raise a big red flag. these issues existed before we were brought here. if they want to charge black males born in the 80s and 90s with the responsibilities of our great grand parents, grandparents and parents; then there's really nothing left to say. black men may as well get their non-black chick and move to a non-black community.
Imagine a black man owning a Chinese restaueant in China Town, or selling bagels in a Jewish area, or having a bakery in little Italy
I agree. I'm not going easy on white racism. However until we get our community and culture in order it is hard to address racism. I also think that the bast way to combat white supremacy is through economic empowerment anyway.

i agree but the businesses need to be replaced with something first. if blacks stopped patronizing these foreign business owners, then what, where do we go for anything?
we gotta stop pretending that black americans have the same amount of resources, wealth and business know how. almost all of us were raised to be consumers, very few of us raised to be business owners. once that changes, maybe we'll see some progress.
Thats most common in poor neighborhoods where residents lack transportation to a decent store so its convenient to walk a block and get nails done, a wing dinner with fried rice, and a 40oz and blunts on the way home.
