When he said that it made me wonder

Do the players of this generation take care of their bodies more than the 80's and 90's players?

Or you still gonna have the outliers I.E Malone KAJ :yeshrug:

I agree that it seems players get hurt more & need more days off than prior eras. It could be back that injuries weren't accepted back.then.

Dude was one of the most talented players of all time. The stories around him are legendary...showing up to shootaround hungover and having huge scoring outings...at Georgetown he set the endurance record on the treadmill (ran full speed for 45mins straight and had to be pulled off)

Hes that weird athlete that gave minimal and maximum effort at the same time.

Not only did he NOT work on his body...he didn't work on his jumpshot...which was actually pretty good.

Truth be told he never even worked on his legendary handle...his left hand was actually kind of weak...and he always went right on his dribble moves. Which was still highly effective because he was physically gifted

Usually you see talented players who never really realized their potential and became stars because they never really worked on their game.

But we"ve never seen the superstar that never really realized his full potential because he never really worked on his game.

Which Iverson was.

How is Iverson even of this generation? :why:

I don't even get how some people group basketball generations.

There's the 80's, the 90's, and then everything from 2000-2017? It's like no one wants to admit their aging so they just continue grouping everything post-2000 together.
