Ninja Gaiden Arcade was essentially a beatemup

I would like to see a proper sequel to final fight
Final fight 2/3 I remember not caring for at all but I can't remember why I didn't like them. Final fight 1 was a huge deal to me back in the day.

Little known factoid....

Final fight was created to be the sequel to street fighter 1 :mindblown: it's also why so many final fight characters have made it into street fighter.
The continue screen on Ninja Gaiden Arcade was fukking wild.

You dont know the stress this game put on my life. I used to end up with NES games from my older brothers and their friends and this was one of the games
Bad Dudes was easy as fukk :laff: to me at least
Date East... I remember Robocop being challenging but not really
Street fighter 1 may as well not even exist tbh
Yeah, you was too wet behind the ears to understand how the evolution came to be, without 1 there can be no 2
It was a popular game in the Arcades if you could find one. I only knew of one arcade locally with it and it was always packed by players :francis:
Not a beat em' up, but I hope we get more shoot em' ups.

I need a remake of Sunset Riders.

I'm in for this and i'll raise you Legendary Wings + Icari Warriors :whew:
Feel like that crappy version we got a few years back killed the franchise again
Agreed, the timing of it was bad when you have so many better options. I think they can still do it because there are other franchises that bad iterations. Unsure how valuable that IP is, but I would see if somebody like DotEmu or Arcsystem wants to work on it.
Gizmo, when did you find time to play it on playstation? And Instant, what's the gamertag so we can see receipts
I played and beat this, the OG version, and the double Dragon vs battletoads joints.
This newest one was fantastic, and funnier than I thought they'd be able to pull off. It would be a best seller on PS guranteed
Don't sleep, its in Gamepass or can be had for $5 on sale. Go cop that, and stop that

The only popular beat em ups i remember for the 7th gen was Scott pilgrim and castle crashers. I don’t remember anything from last gen
You got some research to do breh

And that's just 4 off the top of my head. There's like 7-8 of these every year:mjlol:

And that's not even counting all the homebrew mods. The retro/indie scene is held up by beat em ups

I could go on and on, I'm a huge fan of beatem ups and pretty purchase them all no matter how good or bad :pachaha:
Me too, it's my fav genre and I remember drought from the end of the 90s to the late 2010, so I make it my mission to purchase them as much as possible.
