The Huey example is true IMO I've even seen it on this board. Depending on context, sometimes "Pro-Black" talk can start sounding more like a guilt trip than empowerment to other black people.

Her point about the Huey types is true. This not only true among problacks, but among highly intelligent or aware people. There's a threshold for intelligence or awareness that once crossed can become isolating

However, piggybacking off of that to say "And that's how they end up with white people" is

The unspoken element in this equation is white liberals' fetish for being told how and why white people commit their atrocities. This element serves a dual purpose.

1. Masturbatory self flagellation that uses white guilt as a vehicle. "Please verbally whip me for the sins of my people"

2. Assuaging of white guilt that uses white conservatives as the supreme evil, allowing the white liberals to feel like "one of the good ones". Above everything, a white liberal wants to feel like a good and just person

A byproduct of problack intellectuals being courted and applauded by white liberals is the massive amounts of validation the problacks receive. Validation that fills the aforementioned void and possible lonliness illustrated by Huey. Watch someone like Ta'Nehisi Coates speak and watch how white liberals gush over him. They can hardly contain their adulation. Now I'm not sure if Coates has ever dated outside of his race, but the point is the option is available in abundance.

The isolation of problackness, juxtaposed with the outsized validation white liberals provide for said problackness is how you end up with so many of them dating white. Because you can be so erudite in your problackness, that white liberals will want to fukk you for it. It's "He's so articulate" on steroids
