The Root's Danielle Belton: 'We were going to fully embrace being black'


Belton, who was catapulted to success by her personal blog The Black Snob, brought her "punk rock" writing style to The Root as a contributor at first. She was hired full time as an associate editor in 2015 and then became the site's managing editor the following year. Belton was promoted to editor in chief last September.

When I became aware of stories of African jews and "gentile" immigrants being discriminated against and brutalized in Israel, I tracked several of the Black news and info sites that I used to frequent and waited 2 weeks for them to pick up the story .
I started to post comments about the story and their reluctance to publicize it in comments section about unrelated stories. Comments would be erased a day later.

Stopped fukking with all those sites....including the Root.

You can go to any space on the net, see what's promoted and what's not allowed, and can figure out who pulls the strings. Even this site.
