Then in 1995 Black Thought Cemented himself as one of the great lyricists in the rap game.
"do you want more was really the question" and the fans said yes.

Then in 1999 the roots released a top 50 album of all time with excellent production and ridiculous lyricism that stood out in the 90's and really shot the roots into stardom

Fast foward all the way to 2011 Black thought proved he wasnt status yet and spit some of the hardest verses during the 2010's.
No matter how you face is the roots are one of the greatest groups of all time and black thought is a top 10 rapper of all time without a doubt
