I'm just saying.... Gym Class Heroes - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia; The Roots - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

both called alternative hip hop (now I don't agree with this necessarily), but at the same time I wouldn't call Gym Class Heroes a pure rock band .... , nor would I call Linkin Park a pure rock band. The obvious difference is that LP and GCH veer towards rock, while the Roots veer towards soul ... so if that's the distinction then
