That's disrespectful as fukk. I'm glad Alvin was a stand up dude about that shyt. :salute:

Shady shyt like that makes no sense to me. So did they want Gentry to just collect a paycheck? With this team as soon as a losing record looms or is there, PANIC!!!!!

The fukk kind of Sacramento basketball culture is that. Soon as its many games sub 500, the FO starts looking for a new coach? Coach assumes he's out, start doing shyt to make him look hireable elsewhere? Players assume the coach is out, why bother buying in to his system?

I guess for the next 30 years, we can expect at least 30 coaches.

They already smearing this dude Malones name in the media in Sac too claiming he was AGAINST them extending both Rudy and Demarcus.

That's my squad but I'm hoping Boogie demands a trade so I can have a reason to root for another one

even :rudy: don't believe that, nothing but lies. he spent all offseason cultivating a relationship with his two stars and when they were on the floor together this season, you could see shyt had changed. honestly they were probably one of the most dominant first half teams (threw away a lot of games at the end)

this owners actions are despicable, just kinda lurk waiting for a losing streak and then fire him knowing damn well you're only losing because the all-world center is out with a very sick viral infection. wants to implement a system like their D-league team has without the personnel, the stauskas pick is so fukking transparent with brady heslip being the d league leading scorer with 30ppg 7.5 made threes per game (at a 53% clip :ehh:) that those kind of players are the direction of this franchise

maybe they should've just moved to seattle :mjcry:

"Defense is great, but we need defense and offense," the Kings owner said. "We need to go from a rules-based organization, which was important when you had chaos, to a values-based organization -- from kind of a programmatic offense to a read-and-respond, free-flowing offense.

"I like to use a music metaphor. We had a Sousa marching band, which was needed when there was chaos. But now we need to shift to a jazz band, where people can be individually showcased and improvised. What we need is a jazz director. I think that's the kind of leadership moving forward."

"Michael Malone is a good man," Ranadive said. "He's an honorable man, and he did great things for this organization. ... We needed a coach [in 2013] that would restore structure, restore discipline, restore a system defense, and I consulted with some of the experts in the business and they said [Malone] was a great choice."

"The NBA has become like the high-tech business," Ranadive said. "Just because you invented the iPhone doesn't mean you can rest on your laurels because somebody else is building a better iPhone. Just because you win 50 games doesn't mean you can be satisfied with the status quo.

"So we live in a time when good enough isn't, and we need to keep getting better. So while we have a good foundation, we needed to pivot. We needed to go."

:mindblown:

This guy has no clue. He sees Kerr's success and thinks that is the norm in this league.

This owner man, woooow.
So.... an offense based around the franchise player.... and team defense.... that results in wins.... is the wrong direction? :mindblown:

The worse thing is management pretending to come off as calculated. Oh they're calculated alright, in the shady way. But nah, if they were on their shyt, they'd have a backup plan instead of hey we'll give Ty Corbin a shot. Whatever that means. Oh what about Mullins? Oh, isn't Mark Jackson in the house (last night)? Hmm, George Karl got nothing going on right? I hope they at least tell Corbin and the players what his expectations are. They just lost to OKC so uh.... that's 0-1, in the Corbin era. I mean, 11-13 didn't cut it, surely 0-5 won't.

The coaching situation going to be on some speed dating shyt. :scusthov:

Even with all the coaches that have been [unfairly] fired over the last 18 months - this is still the worst one by a considerable margin.
