The Phoebe and Snail Mail joint are okay. I just find the sound so redundant at times. It reeks of misguided suburban malaise imo. Also Lykke Li and Wet make cool music

How'd I miss this thread:skip:

Boygenius, Soccer Mommy, Snail Mail, Forth Wanderers, Illuminati Hotties. White hoes ran 2018 music wise

Like what I checked out on youtube from Forth Wanderers and Illuminati Hotties :ehh:

Really reminds me of some of the music that came out in the early 90s

I was gonna say, all those songs either sounded like Lana Del Rey, or just straight up covers of other well known songs, down to the rhythms, song structure, and mixing dynamics. :mjlol:

I heard the first two seconds and instantly knew, "Oh this is gonna start with a quiet dynamic and build to a chorus with a hard backbeat."
Because it sounds just like "Everlong" by the Foo Fighters. :mjlol:

That Big Thief joint literally starts with the Creedence Clearwater riff to "Proud Mary" :mjlol:
