The same thing Scarface was talking about with Hip Hop, Dame Dash was too

I've always respected Dame and thought he was one of the hardest working CEO's in the business. He had that hungry and determination it took to make things happen and get things done. But Dame Dash was speaking on culture vultures too.

Now in this link he's mad because a meeting was held about Jay-Z, without him being present. But he speaks directly to one of the executives in the room about not knowing anything about his culture:

I don't blame Dame Dash for not having anything to do with Hip Hop anymore. It's too much politics and bullsh*t. The game is rigged anyway.

It's just like those classics lines by GZA in the Wu-Tang Clan's Protect Ya Neck song:

"First of all, who's your A&R? A mountain climber who plays an electric guitar. But he don't know the meaning of dope when he's lookin for a suit and tie rap that's cleaner than a bar of soap" :wow:

Honestly, I don't even know the next part of the video because the one that I posted isn't even listed as to what part it is. But apparently it comes from the Last Days Of The Roc, there are other parts of this on youtube but I haven't watched the whole documentary to know what part comes after this.

Dame Dash "left the industry" in the same way I refuse to have a threesome with Kate Upton and Zoe Saldana. Side note, this is my favorite video ever. He's already bankrupt, his career is completely over, and he's the only person in the room who doesn't realize it. He's just being loud and everyone in there doesn't respond because they're all so embarrassed for him. Most pathetic video on the entire internet.

I think people from NY and the rest of the country sees things different, a lot of these old cac executive grew up in the boroughs where hiphop was created. Far before anyone else in the country new what I was they were right there. That's why a lot of rappers fukk with white executives specially the ones that came from the music route and not the finance route. They were smart and went to college though and came back as executives.

Jews are generally better money holders than the average person so they went for the money/management jobs and that's how you make it to the top.

Pathetic.

The people that actually spend money on hiphop for the most part, are white people, with the notable exception of the OG Southern artists.

If Dame's implication is "stay out of my culture" then he should also be willing to forego white people money too.

In the end all the screaming and shyt had to do with ego.
He enjoyed the fact that he could scream at people cause they needed him more than them.

Little did he know that they didn't need him, they needed Jay-z.

And he didn't know that some of the people in that room would actually turn into real bosses, CEOs and shyt. CEO's that could've helped him, if he helped them. They are making themselves rich by making rappers rich. It took these people (and brothers as well of course like Russell Simmons etc) to make rap a dominant genre and not just some little thing that was discussed in the basements of the labels. And I'm not talking about cacs but executives in general.
