Yeah the comic lucifer was a sandman spinoff

I know Lucifer is about to wrap up but it would be bad business if they scrapped the actor altogether. I downloaded the comic book but never got around to reading it due to it being so long especially with the mini series and one-offs connected to the larger narrative.

Imma have to try and breeze thru it before I watch the show.

It will. The popularity of Sandman widely exceeds beyond comic book fans and has done so since the time the book was still ongoing. It is reported that unlike any other comic at the time, most of its readers were fantasy fans and young females who read no other comics. Much like The Walking Dead (before the TV-series) it was massively popular outside of the typical comic book audience.
