After more than 20 years, I’ve finally decided to tell the world what I witnessed in 1991, which I believe was one of the biggest turning point in popular music, and ultimately American society. I have struggled for a long time weighing the pros and cons of making this story public as I was reluctant to implicate the individuals who were present that day. So I’ve simply decided to leave out names and all the details that may risk my personal well being and that of those who were, like me, dragged into something they weren’t ready for.
Between the late 80′s and early 90’s, I was what you may call a “decision maker” with one of the more established company in the music industry. I came from Europe in the early 80’s and quickly established myself in the business. The industry was different back then. Since technology and media weren’t accessible to people like they are today, the industry had more control over the public and had the means to influence them anyway it wanted. This may explain why in early 1991, I was invited to attend a closed door meeting with a small group of music business insiders to discuss rap music’s new direction. Little did I know that we would be asked to participate in one of the most unethical and destructive business practice I’ve ever seen.........

that story is fiction. so are the willie lynch papers but it is the moral of the story not the essence of origin that is important.

again that story is false and was created 20+ years after the fact but i believe the overall theme to be true.

prison industrial complex has partners like airlines and lingerie companies who secretly contribute to them.

the more prisoner$$$$$ the more profit$$$

then we have the mysterious connections between record companies/media conglomorates and the government

We already know prison industrial complex is Real. A judge in Pennsylvania just got bopped for 28 years for it. I doubt he's the only one, just the only one to get caught so far, and he only got caught because he started sentencing white kids

Care to elaborate or point me in the right direction? I'm genuinely interested in hearing more on the bolded.

It may not be "true" in that fact that someone went through all of this.

But it makes a LOT of sense and could be true in the "background" or where it is true, but no one has actually came out and wrote/said these things...

But it does make a LOT of sense, especially hearing the MAINSTREAM rap music, it's nothing but material this, b*tch/hoe that, I sold _________ amount of drugs...All of the rappers are Scarface reincarnated and all of the "RnB" dudes are hypersexualized animals...

You have to get into REAL artists and music if you wanna find the OPPOSITE of what's on the radio (ie: the same ol BS) thats the shame. The "good" artists have to be "found" or are underground while all the mainstream ish is telling you they're going to "eff yo chick" or that they "Move that dope"

I'm not surprised at any of this...
