I have disturbing news, I'll back up everything I say here so please save your emotions for your pillows
It's understood the PS5 had more polished developer tools and that's recently changed. Now when they do game comparisons not only is Xbox outperforming the PS5 hands down. Even the series s has done it which I been saying all along. Now if you wasn't aware of this truth resident evil 8 runs much smoother than the PS5 version and it's ray tracing is better.
Resident Evil Village Ray Tracing Runs Better On Xbox Series X Than PS5
The new Mass Effect remake in performance mode runs 60fps on PS5 and 120fps on series X
The quality mode on ps5 does 4k at 30fps while the series x does it at 4k60.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition Confirms 120fps on Xbox Series X and 60fps on PS5 - IGN
What's most glaring about this is just a dev kit update can flip what was often times a Sony victory (albeit by the smallest of margins) and while this is all good and all the real Xbox features don't even work until this fall (rdna2 features like machine learning/etc) The gap will widen significantly after that and this is understood by everyone, and if it wasn't it is now. The series S essentially will perform as good as the PS5 after that update since it's rdna2 based as well.
If I misspoke on anything please respond and correct me so the masses can have thier facts straight
