The sheer calculated restraint Drake has shown is frankly amazing

We can all admit Drake had his career on the line and his entire credibility at stake when Meek called him out. Meek thought Drake was too p*ssy to do anything about it...and this redirection has been one of the most miscalculated moves possibly in modern rap music.

A lesser artist would have blown that load and been assed out with nothing left in the tank.... :wow:

but Drake? :whoo:

GAME.

Period!!!

Targeted releases. Stacked disses. Crafted PR. I mean this dude took a crisis and made an example out of this guy and made it look as effortless as possible.

Drake was placed in an impossible position with the potential for everything to crumble around him and within a few days with his back placed on the wall, came out swinging and put an end to end speculation as to what his talent and pool among his fans truly was. I have never seen someone read direct that sort of energy amidst such claims ever in my life. Most other artists might have fallen back completely or remain as quiet as possible so as to not incur the wrath of any person they might not be able to predict. But this guy drake really showed that when it comes down to it he was unwilling to give up without a fight and this is the current situation which we are in. Of course he may have to answer to some of the basal complaints that meek mill insinuated but if you cannot acknowledge this singular display of firing back with such fierceness then I don't know what to tell you.

The fact that this man has held off on dropping a third diss track shows how much more evolved and refined his team is compared to meet Mill especially considering howdy has maneuvered to PR battle and remained on top.

I mean...who does shyt like this?

:mindblown:

Too bad the father of the fatherless didn't past down to his fan base the same 'calculated restraint' when it comes to stanning him.

Drake warned this nikka

Dropped a MASSIVE diss song ADMIST SEVERAL HIT SONGS (Hotline Bling, ojuelegba, sweeterman, etc)

Got props from Meek's local enemies

exposed Meek's tender bytchmade emotions amongst his own camp...

AND embarrassed this guy on social media

Yes. Drake had help on songs...but Meek really thought Drake would never fire back and this is truly what he had coming

And what's crazy is this whole ordeal has given a spark to Drake career, too. I liked "If You're Reading This..." a lot more than I thought I would, but I wasn't really even anticipating Views From The 6 like that. But now? It's easily the most anticipated album of the year. People are going to see how he follows up after this whole ghostwriting controversy. Dude might fukk around and drop an all-rap album just to prove himself.
