:snoop:

I said 10-13 million. He can just as easily sign a 3 year 30 million dollar deal (10 million a year) and I would be perfectly fine with that.

Pau aint worth 10 million a year?:comeon:
Not if you're trying to compete for a championship. You aren't winning anything in this league with a center that can't play D. Signing young athletic two way players is the way to go.

Just Win Baby
Just for a little perspective McGee, Humphries, Barganni and Splitter are all making 10+ mil this season. Some team is gunna throw a 3/30-40 deal at Pau. Obviously with Kobe's contract we can't, at least I hope.

If Kobe had just taken a 2/30 deal he could have saved his best friend

Kobe is making next year basically what him and Pau should've made combined:snoop:
Kobe went to those negotiations like he had a royal flush and dared Mitch an Jim to call him out on it :russ:

or if he played with :shaq:
Thunder aint going nowhere with Westbrook playing such great lockdown defense on Durant :heh:

Remove a key contributor from any title team and odds are they don't win a ring either. So whats your point?
I wonder if he even realize that the Lakers team which lost to the Celtics in 08 is worst than the Thunder team that lost to Miami .

Lakers
“When you hear some of what he says, it does make you wonder how the process is going to go as far as workouts and that sort of thing,” one general manager told Sporting News. “We have seen this story before, of course. I am not sure a player can have that kind of control, though.”

Pulling that kind of stunt now as opposed to when Kobe Bryant did it in the late-90's is a different deal now. Not only is there more reporting and more scrutiny with the internet and social media, but Adam Silver played a huge hand in the CBA negotiations towards leveling the playing field for small markets to prevent exactly this kind of thing.

Odds are that Exum will be happy no matter where he's drafted and this is a non-factor. But it's interesting that some league personnel are concerned about a possible demand from the youngster.

:laff: Exum already got em shook:merchant:

And who are those players?

What other options do the Lakers have as far as bigs go? Unless they get Bosh, Pau is basically all they have left. Even if they draft Embiid, they're still gonna need another quality big. There is no LeBron on this team to counteract their lack of quality big men.
