Eric Pincus: Lakers are seriously considering keeping Pau Gasol for another year - so trading him for nothing doesn't help that.

It may be difficult for the Lakers to get anyone better than Pau this summer - while Gasol would rather move on to a winning situation with more stability - he may not get the perfect opportunity.

There's no black and white here - but Lakers want options - and it's worth $20 mil or whatever for the Lakers to have options.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO:damn:

:mjlol: Pringles ain't and won't be shyt. Pau has 2 rings, what the fukk have you accomplished?? :camby: Just want this faggit off the team ASAP.
i would have liked for him to call out pau more directly. At this point Pau and MDA shytting on eachother is much more entertaining than the games :manny: Pau's bytchass needs to be called out more publicly more often b/c whenever the team loses, first thing he does is go the media, blame everybody else but himself.

:wtf: hell no. We couldn't even get a 2nd rounder for that nikka. I'm actually a fan of Pau's but anything more that 6-8 mil... :camby:

The @NBA just announced that Kings C DeMarcus Cousins has been suspended for Friday's game at LAL due to incidents in SAC's last game.

:beli:
They really don't want us to get a top pick.

That's what I was saying a couple days ago and dudes were coming at me. They really have no choice but to bring him back unless they draft Embiid AND sign Bosh.
Either Pringles or Pau is leaving this offseason, and for all the hate Pau gets, give me Pau easily over Pringles. We need a defensive anchor in the worst way. :beli:

We could've got a first rounder......we didn't want it:comeon:

The Suns offered us a 1st rd pick for Pau, but we turned it down, because we wanted one of their 2 higher 1st rd picks.
Obviously if the 1st rd pick is not top 12 protected then its not worth trading Pau for. I said we weren't able to get a first rounder for Pau. Did we in fact trade Pau for any first rounder...no we did not. Therefore one would come to the conclusion that he's not worth enough to trade any valuable assets or potential assets for...which was my whole point in bringing that up...therefore we should not be paying him a stupid amount of money when its plain to see he doesn't have that demand. Sure a dumb team might pay him 10-13 mil in the offseason...it damn sure better not be the Lakers.

There aren't any free agents who could fill that role. Maybe they could try to deal for Gorgui Dieng from the Wolves since they don't want to play their young guys. He blocked a lot of shots in college and had a decent mid-range J too.

Fran Fraschila's Summary:

Q: What does Exum remind you of?

FF: He (physically) looks like a Wes Johnson, but he's way more skilled that his game reminds me of a young 1982 North Carolina Michael Jordan. He's not going to be like MJ, of unless I'm wrong. But you're looking at Exum like a young colt going like, "this guy's going to win the Kentucky Derby someday."

Q: Who do you think should be in the Top 3?

FF: In some order, Embiid because he can be the next great big man. Parker because he's NBA ready and you can plug him on any team in Day 1 and will score 18 points in his rookie year... but he's going to have issues with defeding so he may also give up 18 points. Exum because he is a transformattive player and can be "that" player. I love Wiggins, I've seen him more than anybody, he has some make-up issues, some more things he could learn, too nice of a kid. I think there are 2 transformattive players and that is Embiid and Exum.
