I guess the loss would hurt less if the Pelicans pull out with the W.

Edit: Sac's schedule is really pathetic. :mjlol: They should pull out a minimum 4-5 wins in the next 10.

cant believe dudes are actually hating on Kupchak. he's done a hell of a job ever since he's been year. and this came out today..

I mean the dude clearly knows what the fukk he's doing. The problem is Jim Buss
The same Mitch that signed Luke Walton to a 40mil/6 year contract and offered similar contracts to Devean George and Vlad Radmon? No other teams were offering them deals anywhere close to that amount. The same Mitch that traded 4 picks to the Suns for a player they had no intention of signing? That Mitch Kupchak? Mitch usually overpay his players. See the recent contract Kobe just signed and the other ridiculous contracts he offered to players over the years. The only player that I remember he signed at a discount was Lamar Odom in 09.

those were bad deals but we won championships with those players. Those signing didnt prevent us from winning or signing talent so really who cares. I mean why should I ridicule a guy for giving out overpriced deals to role players when the same guy is NOTORIOUS for lopsided trades in our favor. The dude got us Dwight Howard for a washed up Bynum, Pau for Kwame Brown, and theoretically Chris Paul for Pau Gasol, and Im supposed to be mad he gave a few role players a penny too much? Talking about not seeing the bigger picture. Mitch Kupchak is absolutely one of the best GM's in the game. Every Gm has good and bad moves. Mitch's good outeights the bad by a long shot. The dude has 4 rings under his watch since 2000, thats more than any other GM. The dude traded for Pau, Chris Paul (theoretically)/Dwight. Thats 3 HOF's. Find another GM that has done that.

No Mitch got us Pau Gasol for an expiring contract(Kwame), Marc Gasol, Jarvis Crittenton and 2 first round picks (Greivis Vasquez and Donte Greene). That deal was more than fair for both sides. Plus Pau demanded a trade to the Lakers.

Bynum wasn't washed up. He was coming off an all-star season. Dwight was demanding a trade to the Lakers, Mavs or Nets. The Mavs didn't have any assets and all the Nets had was Brook Lopez. And where is Dwight now? He lost him for nothing.

Chris Paul trade didn't happen.

LOL @ crediting Mitch for 4 rings. When it was Jerry West that fukking built the 3-peat. Jerry West built that foundation. He traded for Fox, Horry, Kobe, signed Shaq and drafted Fisher.
Mitch gets ZERO CREDIT for those rings. ZERO.

Signing Phil Jackson? Yeah that was Jerry West too.

He gets some credit for the 2-peat, but again it was Jerry West that brought Kobe to the Lakers who the team was built around. Not Mitch

Yeah, mitch has been gassed up for the last time as far as I'm concerned. I just want the whole front office wiped out we need a fresh start. Kobe don't even need to be on twitter either gtfoh just chill nikka, I ain't even see the game I swear if those two new idiots ruin the tank then this solidifies mitch as the most overrated GM of all time for that stupid ass move. :beli:

the Pau Gasol was not fair when it was done. Thats not even debatable fam. Whenever a deal is centered around one of the absolute worst players in the league, its lopsided.

Considering Bynum has put up 1 20 point game since the trade, that trade was a steal. The fact he left had nothing to do with Mitch. By the way who drafted Bynum fresh out of high school?

The Chris Paul trade didnt happen, but was agreed to by both GM's. It was essentially a deal. So yes I give him credit for that

you dudes are scapegoating Mitch for no fukkin reason. He's regarded as one of the best GM and negotiators by his peers for a reason. Judging him for this year's body of work is laughable. He's done good all things considered, and this is the first year in a LONG time we didnt have a competitive roster. And I dont know one single Laker fan who was upset with Steve Nash move at the time. Not one. He was coming off a 12 and 10 season, and we had no PG. Every Laker fan liked that move. It wasnt until Steve was defeated by father time that folks started tripping.

btw, Another brilliant move by Mitch was flipping Mo Evans and Brian Cook for Trevor Ariza.

He also refused to flip Bynum for Kidd, which turned out to be a brilliant decision as well.

Dude shouldnt be fighting for his job. I fully trust him and his ambition to put together talented teams.

So why did jeanie buss say she was :mindblown: at us trying to complete a move for CP3 while all the owners were there in NY and they had just locked out the players over this very problem?

but Greatestlaker and 2quik are right about mitch though. He's an average GM at best who wasted Kobe's prime, let the roster get old on two championship teams and let an inexperience owner make basketball decisions.
