so what happens. i stopped watching around season 3 and i don't care enough to get caught up by watching them on netflix.

Damn, when tonight's episode was on I was like "wait, did I miss an episode?". You'll understand if you watch, but anyways yeah this show fell of right around she started messing with the Mexican mayor.
Damn, this and The Simpsons really fell off.

the final episode wasn't even really based on a main character.
the series finale was like 10 years in the future. they didnt hint that they were doing this for the final episode based on what happened from the second to last episode. it just popped up out of nowhere like some inexperienced writers out of high school wrote the final episode.
they should be embarrassed.
it was mainly based on her youngest son Stevie who has probably had less than 5 minutes of lines througout the whole television series.
she ends up rich legally from a starbucks type pot shop corporation.

This show is a classic example of a creator who didn't believe this shyt would last past 3 seasons. The writing and direction of weeds is so ridiculously removed from the original premise that is almost like watching another show.

I completely agree that there were plenty of writing decisions were terrible...
Having the finale be like the mix of an epilogue and an ending was was actually smart writing, I thought.
Still didn't make too much sense, but for what it what, I actually liked the ending.
And I thought the final scene was nice. Nancy just moves on

This show sucked after the 3rd season. It went on a few years too long.
After season 3 is what most fans agree on. If you're still watching, you're most likely doing it out of curiosity and not because you enjoy watching. I stopped watching after season 7.

I've not seen the final episode yet, and I've not read any of the spoilers in this thread, but I have, am, and will always state my belief that the show should have ended right here at the above gif. They had NO fukking business dragging this on past that point. It was perfect. Nancy burned Agrestic to the fukking ground but everyone still had a fresh start and there was only really minimal loose ends.
Show died with Agrestic.
