How fast it moves in the grand scheme of things
Nobody posting here will be alive in 100 years. Earths been around for millions of years, people come, people go, some earlier than expected because of being at the wrong place at the wrong time or getting the shyt end of the stick health wise.. But at the end of the day we all gonna end up under some dirt

I remember the day my lil sister was born, now she's almost a teenager (save your pedo jokes, please)
shyts crazy. I remember when I was a teenager.

Next ima be like I remember when I was a young adult

Next ima be like I remember my 30s.. My 40s.. Etc

I'm not scared of death but the fact it exists makes what we do in life pretty much meaningless unless we do something extraordinary like help with big laws or invent something that helps out generations to come.

And I'm reading about how eventually the universe is gonna swallow itself whole.. No human invention will stop that regardless of technology

shyts weird.. It almost makes it seem like fun & music & games & well entertainment in general is just one huge distraction from our ultimate demise

I think I'm bipolar I was havin a good day till about an hour ago & I had these thoughts

It's pretty long I'm not even done reading it yet. I can't remember the specific chapter but there was this one parable that had me like

The fact that when u think about it, the world is never gonna end. Like even if the planet explodes and the universe swallows itself or wuteva, like the world will still exist, nothing is something. shyt is basically eternal.

Best advice Ive gotten lately is to just embrace whatever is happening at the moment. If youre experiencing happiness, live it up, if youre experiencing sadness, understand and accept that part of the journey for what it is.

The meaning of life is meaning.You strive to define it, and strive to have it define yourself.....Some people can't accept the fact that life has no meaning to it. I've come to the realization that 99.9999~% of what I do with my life has no meaning at all, and that almost everything I do will be forgotten within a generation from when I die



Don't mean to jack your thread but here is another philosophical twist to the ever thickening plot:

Let's assume evolution is true. (Most of you believe in it, but you have to admit there are some holes, but I guess no other theory comes close to our creation other than evolution given the facts and evidence). If that's the case, then our brain's premise and design was to ADAPT and SURVIVE our surruoundings, and never to understand our surroundings. We can never view our own world from outside of our own eyes. Our eyes and brain plays tricks and we are easily decieved by the easiest of illusions.

That said, how can we ask ourselves the meaning of life and how can we even attempt to truely understand everything about our surroundings? Our understanding of the world as we understand it now is probably flawed due to our own brain's initial design. We weren't built for understanding. We were biult for survival and procreation. It is only the outer layer of our brains that has logic, but the inner layers are all about survival(I think? read this somewhere ), and those inner layers are our foundation. Now with that, if God DOES exist, how can we ever even understand him or creation or evolution when we weren't designed for understanding in the first place.....
