i was always on board. this is great.

seriously sick of people shytting on these 2 shows. nothing is as good this long into a run and they are literally 44 minutes a week. each episode has at least one or two good lines/jokes and dvr exists. there's no harm in watching these shows in 2014

But the legacies of the shows are getting damaged to a certain extent. The Simpsons IMO is the GOAT show period but it's kind of hard to explain the last 7+ seasons that were unremarkable.

Family Guy to me was never a good show and became too focused on shock value and racist/bigoted jokes without a punchline.

Nah, Family Guy first few seasons were hilarious just for the random pop ups but it went too far after that. Honestly, I stopped watching Family Guy when South Park ethered them cuz they pulled a lot of cards I never even bothered to notice.
