The Soul Train Awards have released their nominations

The nominations for this year's Soul Train Awards have been released.



First person I notice missing is Summer Walker and her album Still Over It. She should've definitely been acknowledged in Best Female R&B/Soul and Best Female Album.

Also I love Lizzo but I don't know that she belongs in some of these categories either.

I remember a time when I knew everyone listed in each category. A time when it didn’t matter who won or lost .. they were all dope .. so you rooted for them all. Congrats and good luck to all those folks. . although most of their names don’t ring a bell.
