i dont know about production becaue NY had the casio beat game on lock in the late 90's but the south did dumb the game down something serious that isn't even debateable. It wasn't just about the one or two wack rappers, were talking about an army of em, hiphop still aint recovered.

I agree!! Lil Jon changed the game. I believe he was the first to start this big trend. Back in H.S early college. NYC still had dipset and 50, but they unfortunately could not keep up with all the southern music that was to come!!
