in their own right, wayne is certainly a legend. So is TI, jeezy, cole, and ugk/outkast.

All of the influences of their music can be heard today is EVERYBODYS music. Now as an actual person, you may be right. As far as an iconic status, south rappers aren't considered icons. Not because they aren't, but because they usuall give a story we all can relate to from beind in the south in someway. Rather than icons like 50 cent who have 9 lives and has branched to other platforms. Most south rappers make music. Thats it.
