It’s time. And this is from my perspective of the booth which is mostly East Coast 60’s & 70’s babies. And that’s fine because that’s there era & region, so respect & salute
But it’s definitely a disconnect. & It ain’t cool for ppl who fw this site that’s from southern regions or who are fans of southern & trap artists have to constantly see who they consider as “greats & legends” get shytted on based off straight region bias. Can’t even have proper debates or discussions.
Once again I know it’s just a region thing. Plus Hip Hop isn’t the same from when Cool G Poppa Pump nem was pop locking & rapping 80 years ago in Manhattan
So I know it’s hard for em having to watch some of their regional & local favorites from the 50’s turn into grave yard dust bunnies on the shelf, kinda how Andy did Woody when he got Buzz (that reference might go over some of the elders in here)
But you get the point, once again mad respect and love to the OG legends in rap
But I do think it’s time for the booth to have a sub forum for Trap Muzik/Southern Rap.
Let the big homies have their peace & quiet time in the booth as they discuss the “golden years” of hip hop & rave about a new 50 Cent album that “the streets have been waiting for”
