smoking cigars is a status thing really kind of corny to be honest

I think it's right up there with drinking fine wine from a specific region or era .

It makes sense, but admittedly I don't personally partake in cigars. It's one of those activities with a huge following in the same league as luxury coffee officianados or cheese purists who seek rare or expensive version of their product for social status.

Some folks just really love having the best of a particular consumptive niche.
