By that logic then Steve Harvey, Wayans bros are still in the red.

No show on tv everyday for 25 years is still behind on budget
Again you're assuming that they're making bank from those syndication networks.

Those syndication checks from MTV2 and Centric aren't going to hit like that compared to other higher tier channels is my point.

It's a reason why people jump ship from those channels when they have the opportunity to do so and that's no shot at them personally.

I'm not saying it's true. What I'm saying is that it's not farfetched based strictly on the WB Network and what it was at the time along with the fact that the show wasn't popping in the ratings like that because of it.

Family Time is a very underrated show, I like In The Cut too:wow:
I prefer ‘Family Time’ because of Angell Conwell, and her chemistry is good with Sweetpea. I also lowkey had a thing for Paula Jai Parker. Tanjareen Thomas’ lesbian character is overly forced on that show

I forgot to mention that Bentley’s son was on Family Time as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if those shows WERE still in the red.

Y'all might like them but just keeping it a buck, there was a huge step down in profile from the things like Fresh Prince n the Cosby Show to the Upn/WB joints.

Cosby's scandals ruined that ish but yeah, all these shows weren't created equally.

And they definitely didn't get the same syndication packages either.

I work in an office and can ask my all white coworkers, both younger and older about Fresh Prince episodes but Wayans/Harvey/Foxx show?

Didn't even know they existed.

So yeah, it's definitely believable.

Basic Hollywood accounting. It was news a few years ago that Men In Black still hadn’t made a “profit.”

Posters are also overlooking the important detail that the follow up rebrands of UPN and The CW didn't turn a profit either.

Hell, the Netflix syndication deal that they had for years was literally the only thing helping to keep a lot of those shows on air and the network alive in it's previous state.
