@Matt504 loves discussing our people's favorite pass time and it's been amplified in the social media era

A lot of us need to be cautious about the aftermath that comes with the "stunt on" culture

Stunt on breeds envy, jealousy, and hate.. it rarely inspires (sorry Meek) or creates admiration

So to all the young brehs coming up.. I suggest you move wisely. Nothing wrong with taking a pic here and there but all the excessive pictures/posting of what you have... from paper money, your girl... to jewelry and whips isn't healthy

The universe is balanced... the wolves are still out here (starving.. scratching.. itching) and they're always watching. The gig economy (part time at the mall, uber, lyft) is unpredictable/unstable. Today Uber exists.... tomorrow Uber is MySpace

If you're pontificating "Birdman and Thug's Lifestyle" online on a Rite aid hourly budget the end game could be your life.....

Cause the young wolves aren't doing the best job of separating reality from social media fantasy

Young brehs.... you've been warned.

I think stunting is etched in our DNA. I find myself wanting to stunt on Snapchat and I'll admit that I have, but it's not something that should be a habit. I put 100% of the blame on rappers. When you hear Jay Z say " I pull up in my 4.6 with the seats back bumping some other shyt" it makes you want to be that guy too, even if you aren't living like that.

But they dont hear you tho

I had to speak on it.. felt it in the pit of my gut.. brothers are out here hanging themselves because of how they move..

You can actually see the aftermath of the male influence/presence missing from a lot of your youth. That's not to criminalize single mothers because the male presence doesn't have to be "dad"

Two youngins I know personally have been shot down because of the image they portrayed online... cats don't even realize they're orchestrating their own funerals

Celebrities tend to have tax bracket changes before they participate in showing off their new lifestyle

Regular brothers and sisters out here emulating celebrity culture in the most dogmatic way while still being in their community..

:mindblown: please be carful what you put in the universe fellas

Hip hop has a braggadocio "look at me" (RIP pimp) aspect to it but this is really celebrity culture and social gaming rules

Basically, to parrote.. once hip hip was taking mainstream and corporatized the underlining theme was to use the music to sell products like anything you see in the mainstream

You can't really focus on hip hop and leave out the others aspects..

Nevertheless, the "I am somebody" culture in our community has been here. As far the excessive abuse of social media and picture/video/snap that's something youn think to associate with women.. women love making each other jealous but now it's effecting our brothers

The more you stunt and show off your shyt online, the better of a meal you look to the have-nots :francis:

13% of the pop

Most of our people fall into the low socioeconomic class

You can't be a have not. Live in a community of have nots.....

And Stunt on the other have nots....:

Then one morning you're laying on your bed wondering why you woke up with a pistol in your mouth

Sad part is.. the money is counterfeit (did it for the gram) but you can't explain that to young breh cause you sound like a mumble rapper with a gun in your mouth

Damn that 13 pop shyt, whites and latinos can be just as hungry

Coincidentally, wife and I were discussing this shyt last night. Glad we are not growing up during this social media era where we feel the need to let everyone int he world know how much fun we are having or how much money we got.

I'm not trying to show off and put myself on a plate :sadcam:

All races stunt on social media. It's wild corny

I dig it but this isn't an all lives thread... no disrespect

I'm speaking to my people (especially the young men) with a warning to disengage from the status update game

Meech was the exception and not the rule..

We've got to move past this and do it fast

You could always balance that out by showing your arsenal that you should have anyway, based on the current climate:mjpls:

I agree though, but its a young nikka thing, once you get a family though you gotta worry about they safety....and really shouldnt be moving reckless in many fashions, but I'm not sure why we limit it to this to social media like thats a major reason nikkas is dying.

I could argue you shouldnt wear nice clothes, shouldnt go out at night, should let other men disrespect you,no more Jordans, and most importantly shouldnt have a bad bytch.....and the list goes on,yall just like to draw the line at shyt you think is stupid:pachaha:
