@daemonova I guess you could say, we are the 1st brains on the grid....
Anyways, I can def see why this movie rubs a lot of folks the wrong way or may be considered a hard watch by some. The setup is kind of tedious, free flowing tech/govt/regulation jargon convo with little exposition that most are used to and ultimately characters who we don't know & are just thrown right into the retreat with them. As opposed to something like Succession, by the time we got to Boar on the Floor, we had lived with those mfs for awhile.
You got creh with cancer just casually plotting to catch a body without a 2nd thought. And then, my one guy, the lil Sam Altman stand in, lol, after what happens to him, don't even have a change of heart nothing but decides to play the game more ruthless
Like, this ain't Black Mirror ish by any means tryna warn us about subscriptions & shyt lol. It's just a full on satire about how power works, what it looks like, etc.
So, I could see how it could be jarring for some. Shyt, at one point, I was thinking of cutting it off. It found its stride eventually tho. Maybe could've worked better as a limited series or maybe even a few extra minutes tacked on but I'm not mad at it overall.
