I wonder what the possibility is that we will see some s&t taking place more so than signing guys with our cap space? So far AK doesn't seem urgent to clear any space otherwise you would think a trade or 2 might have happened by now.

we’ll find out in the next 24 hours but it’s either a sign n trade & stay over the cap then offer rose the mid level or trade young,sato renounce cap holds & use cap space . I think the bulls might try to run them 3 guard line ups like okc did with shroeder,cp3 & sga with lonzo,lavine & rose + paw & vuc.

they don’t really have to worry about clearing the space until Friday when it’s time to put pen to paper and send in to the league. Moving Sato & Thad would be easy, they are valued vets around the league, we should be able to get something back along with opening that capspace. They can renounce Lauris rights at any time and that takes away his cap hold.

I think we could see any of those three involved in a sign and trade, Lauri being the most likely.

Multiple league sources told Action Network that Chicago is (currently) the most likely landing spot for Ball. That’s based on multiple factors, including the preference of both Ball and his agent, Rich Paul, Chicago’s interest in making a roster move and the Pelicans’ openness to discussions.

Remember rich paul knows griffin from the Cleveland days they have a working relationship. I highly doubt n.o. Holds him hostage but they’ll probably have to sign n trade & give up a 2nd or somebody

Yeah, we didn’t waive them so I believe they are officially now fully guaranteed. We shouldn’t have any issues moving either guy if needed to open space

^^ Spurs sound like they really want Lauri, what can we get back I wonder? ^^
