I’ve seen conflicting reports whether the Caruso deal took away our MLE





if we got Caruso in a sign and trade deal with the Rockets/Lakers it means we still have our full MLE, which is like 10 mil

that’s essential to our ability to fill out the roster and fill gaps in the front court

It appears we are considering not much is being reported on both sides from derozan or lauri.

But as I posted earlier I also wouldn't be surprised if we send lauri elsewhere for another big or even if we retain lauri and flip him later at the deadline.

The problem with getting Monk is that we have too much of a logjam at off guard if we put Coby there.

I think you spend the rest of the money if there is any on the frontcourt, or possibly resign Lauri for the low low.

i dont mind the derozan idea . have him be a 3rd or option in the startin line up ,lonzo is passive enough at best of times

and worst case scenario have him play with the bench unit while lavine is on the bench for extra offense

Something is holding the deal up. As money drying up on Lauri its drying up on derozan too.
