thats why I was shocked by the Caruso move, we added a 5th guard (Zach, Zo, Coby, Caruso, Ayo) when we really need talent in the frontcourt

Go BPA & figure out fit later. Caruso was likely the best bang for the buck at 8-9m annually left on the market.

I trust AK to shore up the front court depth

The problem with getting Monk is that we have too much of a logjam at off guard if we put Coby there.

I think you spend the rest of the money if there is any on the frontcourt, or possibly resign Lauri for the low low.

coby is out for 6 months breeh ..and who knows how he will be when he komes baaak .. what are we doin in the mean while .. i guess we let lauri cook and use that to drive up his value ..i think its still risky ..espcially as caruso brings nothin and lonzo is a pass first passive PG

depending on how much monk wants ..i think its a good option gor both sides


thats why i wanted rose with this group if we got zo ...now u play yaself in a position where the bench unit will struggle

Not mad at it now tho, he "could" get back to actually looking good for someone, but I'm fine with him gone. It'll be interesting to see what happens with situation. Curious to see what the Bulls can get back for him in a S&T.

Honestly i think the plan is to use some of those guys in the SF spot and kick pat down to PF ... Zach/Zo/Caruso all around 6'6" ish ... the team can probably get a backup big with the room exception once the dust settles like Robin Lopez.... or we could just keep Lauri and extend him ... don't really see the purpose of losing him for nothing at this point

I'm assuming Lauri is going to be moved, depending on who they get IMO determines where Pat starts (either at the 3 or 4). Thad is a good vet, but we shouldn't want breh starting heading into next year.

Lauri was terrible last year. I was expecting him to bounce for no compensation to be honest.
