This is true, maybe they see DeMar relieving pressure offensively by being another finisher/playmaker in the half-court.

Bulls are banking on Pat being legit at all 3 levels because adding DeRozan means he'll operate in the midrange where Pat is most comfortable

An actual productive playoff player would have helped ... PJ Tucker would have been ideal between Vuc and Pat ... and he could have offered him more money than he took in Miami


These "hustle" Players like Caruso could be had for much cheaper and because of that you could possibly split your MLE to double up ...if you want a defensive combo guard/wing David Nwamba could have given you that for half the price shyt I'm sure Danny Green would have taken that too ...Avery Bradley is another one Justice Winslow ....Josh Hart potentiality...etc etc I hope you don't think Alex was the "only viable option"

He surely didn't get overpaid this offseason. He will be worth every 20 million dollar year, all-star money for an all-star level player.

I would have been okay with the Caruso deal if it wasn't four full ass years. That should have been a short "prove it" deal. Same with Zo, that should have been a 2 year deal.

I think he's a good option but not the only viable one. I think locking him up for 4 years on that deal is pretty good buisness, you can always trade him down the line anyway.

I think he's a good option but not the only viable one. I think locking him up for 4 years on that deal is pretty good buisness, you can always trade him down the line anyway.

If he shows that he's worth a damn. Otherwise you have a "nothing" player sitting around 9/10 mil that should have been a short term expiring. Those add up.

I'm not too upset at the deal either way.

And all of those players were considered better players than Lonzo before they stepped foot in the All-Star game. Every single one. The only debatable one was Randle but he was better than Lonzo when they played together in LA.

this was the only offseason we had to spend money and he was the best viable option that adds exactly what we needed

hes also still very young and it pretty much assures Zach staying long term now

I dont know what you wanted them to do instead?

nobody is acting like Zo is a star or will elevate us to contenders

he got paid what he is worth now in the NBA, look at contracts around the league
