Caruso has been a plus player every year with the Lakers. His shooting is decent on low volume and it’s improved with each year. One of the best defensive PG in the league and after years of watching Valentine, Archie, Sato, and Coby get destroyed nightly how can you be mad at this signing? Vucci will need all the help he can

DeRozan for Lauri gives us more credibility, but If we could sign Lauri for 15 M per, I think that's a steal.

Getting that Trade Exception from Houston was a sneaky good move too.

What I do like about Caruso and ball additions, lavine and Vucevic who will both be logging 33-35 min per night will always be on the floor with defenders who can hit the 3. That will cover for their defensive slip ups. Laker fans all seem sick about losing him which says alot considering we ain't spoke a sentence about losing satoransky lol

I dont like the price tag though but maybe AK had to go there to pry him from l.a. but guards are getting paid this year and bigs are coming cheap. I would have loved a rose reunion but not at 15 mill per. Rose got paid and clearly Caruso was our 2nd choice. I'm happy rose got cashed out this late in his career but we would have been fools giving him that money. Still hope rose retires a bull.

All I know is it was rumored we were looking at him before and if derozan falls through I think AK will def trade lauri for another big.

He might trade him for another big I'm just saying for me not that big.

Maybe , but who for that price? It's still some names solid at the bigs, the crop of available guards are piss poor right now. We dam near might as well just brought arci and valentine back that's the quality that remains out there right now

1 guy I would have loved is patty mills but he getting courted by like 7 teams. The thinking of locking someone in rather then end up with coby gone possibly til December and cheap guys at the wing sits well with me. Just wish it was more 5-6mill per rather then 9.
