Yes. It is racist here. I actually live in Salem, which is generally more racist than a lot of other places in Oregon . But, I have been managing well. I'm friendly to everyone, and only really dealt with overt racism the first 6 months. I try to make it work. I will move to Seattle area once I land a job in health admin.
