The TCU vs Baylor Dilemma

While i think TCU is the better team and would beat Baylor if they played again, how can they justify putting in TCU over Baylor after Baylor beat them head to head? If baylor gets in they're getting spanked by whomever but i think TCU can hang with anybody

I do agree that TCU is probably better head to toe, Patterson has the D looking much better and Boykin is growing. but Baylor has a good resume too, and probably the most efficient passer in the history of the Air Raid offense

It was why the playoff comittee still had Ole Miss ahead of Bama last week. When it's all said and done and if Baylor wins the Big 12, The committee will more than likely leap baylor over TCU.

Difference is that Baylor lost to West Virginia and TCU beat West Virginia , basically Baylor is punished for losing to an unranked team at the time.

That's why I think it should've been a 8 team playoff and not only 4, 4 isn't enough teams in a year where isn't a dominant team around.

The gap so large right now tho, they would have to do it this week but they can't with the way they both handled business this week

while ive been saying "let it play out" for weeks, the committee releasing their bullshyt rankings each week paints them into a corner, and goes against the "let it play out" argument. they shouldnt bother trying to rank playoff teams until the end of the season. otherwise, they have to come up with different reasons for their rankings for each team. they go by head to head for one team, and by schedule strength for another, and common opponent for another. its dumb as fukk. committee had asu over nd last week because they won more impressively vs a common opponent in stanford. tcu won more impressively vs a common opponent in west virginia, so why exactly is bama ranked ahead of them? oh now youre ranking those 2 on the "eye test"? whole process is a joke
