Nixon basically turned the republican party into a christian version of the nazi/facist parties of the 40s. People say Reagan was the devil, Nixon was the antichrist or some shyt then.

Look up the story about Jackie Robinson leaving the GOP. Nixon made the entire focus of the party based around a fundamental mistrust of blacks at best or a fundamental hatred a worst, all while knowing they he was dividing the oc*ntry.

I have renounced my membership in the republican party. And for good reason.
