Surprised to see a thread like this get made. But yeah, Teena Marie was MAD underrated throughout her career. She pretty much did most of her albums by herself, and the way she would put her words together was amazing. She's actually credited with being one of, if not the first female to rap on a track (Square Biz).
I got to see her in concert the year and previous year before she died. I was at this one...she was truly one of the greats.
