get that resume out breh. Havent been in this situation yet, but in the business world, you ALWAYS gotta have that backup plan. Carry business cards with you and strike up conversations with whoever you think could be a good look for you in the future. You'd be at the networking ability you can get from a quick 5 minute conversation with a suit at a bar after work.

Thats why networking is so important, I used to bartend on the side and just striking up conversations with people is key. Make people see the value in your character and ask them for a business card. The worst they can say is no. If they are hiring, send them a copy of your resume with a thank you email for the time. Gotta be aggressive in 2013 even if it comes across as corny to you.
