Daps rep looks cool. Not a punk fan but if what the doc says is true and cacs( ahemmm Jews) took it and ran with it Then this deserves some attention

Another interesting thing to think about is if they got signed and blew up, would rap even exist.

Pretty trippy to think if they had mainstream success this forum would be about black punk music instead of hip, hop. Could have changed a lot of things

i been knew this. that's why i :mjlol: whenever people try to say The Ramones, The Clash or Sex Pistols started punk. fukk outta here :camby:
Nobody says they started punk.
But the Ramones were easily the most influential.
And the Clash (my personal favorite band ever) are hard to really call a punk rock group. The Clash dabbled in lots of music. Paul Simonon was really into reggae. Mick Jones was into hip hop. Topper Headon had a jazz background. And Joe Strummer was into all types of world music.

The Sex Pistols are lame goons and frauds.

I fukk with the Clash too so my post was no slight to them (The Sex Pistols are trash and the Ramones are okay i guess), but i just hate it how Death never gets mentioned for being one of the early punk bands. shyt kills me

I see what you're saying.
A lot of black people had a major role in a lot of music that other people made famous...and those early black people get no recognition for it.
It sucks.

Think one of main reasons is that protopunk bands aren't technically considered punk. they're seen as predecessors to punk bands(correct me if im wrong)

Gone down a rabbit hole and they have an interesting story. Lead singer clowned Pink Floyd (my favorite rock band), The Who, etc for playing black people's blues in really crappy way and getting success of it. While I think he's wrong on their talent he was kinda spitting :ehh:

Seems to be a crazed Trump supporter today tho :hhh:
