We ain't got no allies

Many have said this since Obama was in office.. But black people need to be apart of something so fcking bad that we will do shyt thats counter productive..

There used to be a time when black leaders were aligned with black America on this issue. During the last century, Booker T. Washington, A. Phillip Randolph, and W.E.B. Du Bois were all opposed to open borders, arguing that it undermined black advancement and undercut black employees. Educated blacks may not feel the effects of illegal immigration, but the flood of illegal, low-skilled labor undercuts employment prospects especially for low-wage black employees (and low-wage employees are disproportionately black). Perhaps black leaders should pay attention to what these people- who are dealing with the consequences of illegal immigration on a daily basis- think about the issue.

Black leaders have already been silent as Hispanics have surpassed blacks as the largest minority group (heavily fueled by illegal immigration), but now they expect the wider African-American community to be alright with undocumented workers denying them opportunities in the labor market. Pro-amnesty advocates often claim these workers are doing jobs that Americans “don’t want to do” and aren’t undermining black employment prospects. However, such claims do not stand up to scrutiny. African-Americans are hit the hardest by the impact of illegal immigration. And we’re not just talking about jobs like lettuce picking, but construction, landscaping, and manufacturing jobs as well.

There is no real Black and Brown connection.

Having a few friendly exceptions and encounters doesn't equate to there being an actual collation.

I try to tell other Black ppl how a lot of these Brown folks have racist sentiments as cacs and sometimes it'll be even worse cause they tend to be very slick and subtle about it that you wouldn't notice it until you begin saying or doing things they don't like and outta nowhere you'll hear them start talking that “hard-er” shyt.

There was a longtime Mexican poster on here who was on that “Black and Brown” tip a month or two ago and got banned after suddenly switching up his tone en rout to “going off” in a thread referring to a few posters as hard-er's numerous times.

The Mexican Slave Catcher

The most explosive incident involving runaway slaves in Laredo came ... on November 5, 1860. In a letter written to Henry and William Maltby's secessionist pro-slavery Corpus Christi Daily Ranchero, a forty-one-year-old Irish-born clerk named Michael Lidwell, a political ally of Santos [Benavides] who was living in Laredo at the time, said that a black man claiming to be a "free Negro" had arrived at Laredo with two dun horses and persuaded the ferryman to allow him passage to Nuevo Laredo. After the news was quickly passed along to Santos that the man was probably a runaway slave, he gathered ten vigilantes armed with rifles and pistols and at eight that evening crossed to Nuevo Laredo. "In the face of the entire population of the place," Santos was said to have "seized the negro" and succeeded in "making good his retreat [with] his men to the boat." ... Reaching the north bank of the river, the men dragged the wounded Mussett along with the runaway slave up the steep bank and scurried off to the safety of the town, where their captive was lodged in the city jail.

The Ranchero went out of its way to praise Santos for being "foremost in confronting danger in support of the laws and institutions of Texas." It was not the first time Santos had "distinguished himself in restoring runaway slaves to their owners," the Ranchero went on to say. The newspaper also praised him for his refusal to "receive any recompense for his exertions." The writers hoped that Santos, through his actions, had gone a long way toward alleviating the widely held idea in Texas that people of "Mexican origin" were not loyal to the state. His daring actions had proven that citizens on the Rio Grande frontier were as committed as the most "rabid orator." In a few comments on November 17, 1860, the Ranchero again praised Santos for daringly crossing into Mexico to retrieve the runaway slave."

Plenty of non-black people have helped black causes
from the civil rights era to BLM.
:mjlol:
work a job with a lot of brehitos
And tell me how that “unity” from the past works for you:russ:
Better yet move your goofy ass into a majority brehito neighborhood and see what it do:dead:
Every group is out for self except black folks
We run around with Captain America’s shield
Only to get met with:mjpls::hubie::manny::unimpressed:
When we trying to get justice for our selfs or our money up
It’s easy to chant a slogan and go home afterwards
But then double back to abolish affirmative action, complain about going to school with us
Only having a quota of black people in a working environment (male/female)
Poor customer service in their stores
Naive muthafukkas I tell you:deadmanny:

Saying we don't have any allies is simply not true.
The issue is you guys be looking for friendships with other races.

:mjlol: buddy asked you specifics and all you did was reply with your original statement and just added blm to it

Those are specific things BLM was given money and support by non-black people.
The civil rights movement got support from non-black people.

This and they turn into gatekeepers against Black people once they reach political and management positions.

This is currently happening in California and Texas.

nikka said the “truth about the black-brown coalition” as if there’s some modern lobbying and revolutionary arm between Latinos and African Americans bringing about radical change - as opposed to vague work done on some small scale civil rights issues with Latinos and Black people occasionally :unimpressed:
