Why? Just need to knock the first dominoes to make the rest fall in line eventually that's been the goal, ultimately. I just want to see it happen in my lifetime.

The ECO is the first step. Monetary integration is an extremely advanced stage of regional integration and we're in the talks for it. If the will is there, the rest will happen. The correct heads of state must coincide.
