The university may actually be against this (low-key). Maybe they're purposely pushing this to a new level of absurdity so that they can see if the whole tranny-acceptance thing tumbles down.
If I were the parents of the rest of the swim team and actually any other female that may have been up for the award, I'd start a class action lawsuit.
