I don’t think it’s supposed to stop it, but slow it down so that people get it in waves rather than all at once.
If I’m not mistaken that’s what is happening in Italy, their hospitals can’t properly keep up with the amount of infected with serious symptoms, and they’re having to prioritize younger, healthier people.

when anarchy comes through the police will be the first to stay off the streets.
