All the main ingredient are already in place and republicans are setting the groundwork

  • Huge distrust of the mainstream mediaby the public: Hitler worked hard to achieve this which eventually led to control of the entire media. the next fascist doesn't have to work too hard for this
  • Extreme right wing supreme court: The heritage foundation and federalist society ultra right wing court will sign off on the fascist policies (especially the ones that disproportionately affect the "others")
  • Most of the military are right wing Maga, all they have to do is replace the leadership (Llyod austin and mark milley) or force them to resign and install a maga fascist to take out the unlawful orders
  • The economy is perceived to be bad due to inflation and supply chain issues, that creates a window of opportunity for a fascist populist "saviour"

If the US elect a competent fascist like Desantis, it's a wrap

As much as cacs hate black folks, it just wouldn't happen. There's still too many white folks today, who would sympathize. As racist as AmeriKKKa is, it still isn't pre-1950s, America. That was a different level of racism. :mjpls:

It's way too diverse ( also at some point) other minorities, or undesirables, would have to realize, after blacks....whose next? :mjpls:

Idk where folks live, but I see a lot of mulattos, and mixed babies runnin around. Cacs could try it (obviously), but there's still a big disdain, for what happened, the last time fascism popped off.

There will always be sympathizers and once they determine that the price of sympathizing is too high, their support will not go beyond prayers. They will leave it in God's hands.

It's possible that the levels of animosity, resentment and contempt are much higher now than in times where people could be openly racist. This country has turned many citizens into bears that are forced to perform circus acts for snacks, he may look domesticated but once stress levels get too high, people start getting mauled.

I am ardently opposed to the MAGA crazies but they're right about putting fear back into the hearts of these politicians. Sinema is the text book example of a corrupt politician. I despise that women.
